Here at long last is the answer to the needs of performance enthusiasts for an alternative to searching through wrecking yards and swap meets for factory 4 bolt blocks, or purchasing aftermarket blocks that require special componants. World 's new Motown Block is 100% compatible to all OEM requirements.
At first glance, one of the more noticable differences between the World Motown block and the OEM Chevrolet block are the bulges at each cylinder. The Motown block has thicker cylinder walls and the water jackets ahve been expanded to provide the required cooling. These blocks can be bored to 4.200" with .250" wall thickness.
Another great feature is that they still use standard Chevrolet Cam bearings.
