Continuosly improved since its 1987 introduction, the Sportsman II is still the ndustry’s most popular cast iron high performance head. Featuring RightCast® 200cc intake runners, Fast-Burn chambers and your choice of angled or straight plugs, they’re good for 30-70 HP increases right out of the box. They are the aftermarket’s only 50-state emissions legal cast iron high performance cylinder head (E.O. #D-343-1). You should also know that all World Products heads are precision CNC-machined, and indexed off the chambers to assure perfect alignment with the cylinders.
With their CNC ported “Fast Burn” chambers, Sportsman II Lite aluminum cylinder heads are an economical alternative to expensive racing heads.
Iron or aluminum, only World offers complete assemblies with genuine Manley stainless steel Street-Flo, RaceMaster or Severe Duty valves and other quality components including springs, retainers, keepers, screw-in studs and guide plates.

The power merchants at Roush Racing have refined the design of World’s “Senior” small block Ford head to the point where it is unquestionably the most effective over-the-counter head for 5.0 applications available today. Noted Ford expert Jack Roush, who has been putting “Blue Oval” powered drag, road race and oval track cars in the winner’s circle for over 30 years, and his highly acclaimed team have left no stone unturned in their quest to create the best cylinder head of its kind on the market. Actual flow bench and dynamometer testing confirms that World’s new Roush 200 cast iron heads are more powerful than the competition. It’s also important to know that due to World’s RightCast™ technology and CNC machining expertise (all heads are made to rigid QS-9000 specifications), Roush Racing’s designs are faithfully reproduced in every head. The Roush 200 head is compatible with all standard-type pistons. What’s more, efficiency is so good that they’re covered by C.A.R.B. EO #D-343, and fully 50-state legal. Edelbrock Performer RPM 454-O BB Aluminium Oval Port
Designed for big-block Chevrolet 396-502 cube engines, these oval port heads will supply over 540hp with 9.5:1 compression when used as part of a suitable horsepwoer package. The unique design produces flow close to the rectangular port with a smaller port size and higher velocity. This gives a crisp throttle response and great performance. The semi open chamber, 110cc, gives combustion efficiency on streetable compression ratios.
The heads come with 2.19 and 1.88 stainless valves with 11/32 stems, springs, retainers and keepers and ARP rocker studs.

Merlin 269cc Oval Port heads are excellent for most street driven big blocks up to 468 c.i.d. They’ll out perform larger heads in many applications. When larger engines (454 to 540 cubic inches) require added flow, choose Merlin Rectangular Port cylinder heads. With RightCast® 320cc and 345cc intake run-ners, you can expect solid gains in air/fuel mixture combustion charges. These heads will really respond to higher compression ratios, and are ideally suited for hot street/strip cars.
